Stingrays of Hamelin Bay
If you wander down to the old jetty or boat ramp at Hamelin Bay, you will notice black shadows moving throught the water close to shore. Don't panic, they are just the stingrays who have become somewhat of a tourist attraction! We do not encourage patting and feeding of the stingrays, athough you are more than welcome to take plenty of photos. The stingrays always have hungry tummies and they just love a feed of fresh fish (no bait please). They can be seen most days during summer and occassionally during the winter months.
We are excited to now be able to provide you with hot chocolates and coffees from our kiosk at Hamelin Bay! Only $4.50 a cup and available during kiosk opening hours.
Have you ever thought of coming down South for the Gourmet Escape Weekend? A weekend of deliciously good food and great wine in the beautiful South West Region. See full details in the link below. Even though we love dogs and cats, unfortunately your pets can't come to stay here at Hamelin Bay Holiday Park. We are located within the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park which has a strict policy on pets in an effort to protect the local wildlife. We can certainly recommend Leeuwin Kennels if you need a babysitter for your pooch.
Hamelin Bay Holiday Park has a very proud announcement to make!
In our endeavour to become better equipped to meet our customer's needs we have now become fully accredited to the requirements of the Australian Tourism Accreditation Standard.
