Cape to Cape Track
Hamelin Bay Holiday Park is nestled right on the Cape to Cape track, which runs for 135kms between the Lighthouses from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin in our spectacular Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park . This trail is ranked in the top 57 Tourist trails of WA. Scenery varies from coastal cliffs and remote beaches to forest hinterland and stunning rock formations.
Walking southbound along the trail from Hamelin Bay, is a short 5km walk (one way) where you will encounter spectacular coastal views and rocky outcrops of Foul Bay and the Foul Bay Lighthouse then onto Cosy Corner road. The next camping area is located at Deepdene which is a total of 9km from Hamelin Bay or if you’re up to it, you may complete the whole southern walk to the Lighthouse of just over 24km in one day.
The northern track runs along the Beach for 7kms then onto Boranup Beach Road to the Lookout for an inland experience of amazing flora and farmland before the next campsite at Point Road or Conto’s Campground which is just over 20kms from Hamelin Bay.
Here at Hamelin Bay Holiday Park we accept food drop offs prior to your stay which we can either hold for you or deliver to your cabin for when you arrive. There are organised tours such as Cape to Cape Explorers which will do pick ups/drop off at the Park for your convenience and comfort.
Allow 5-8 days for this moderate walk from end to end pending on climate, plenty of water is needed and leave no trace for the Cape to Cape Track. Friends of the Cape to Cape track also offer excellent advice and tips on this stunning trail.

Even though we love dogs and cats, unfortunately your pets can't come to stay here at Hamelin Bay Holiday Park. We are located within the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park which has a strict policy on pets in an effort to protect the local wildlife. We can certainly recommend Leeuwin Kennels if you need a babysitter for your pooch.
Hamelin Bay Holiday Park has a very proud announcement to make!
