Meet the Hamelin Bay Sting Rays

If you wander down to the old jetty or boat ramp at Hamelin Bay, you will notice black shadows moving through the water close to shore. Don't panic, they are just the stingrays who have become somewhat of a tourist attraction!

The stingrays always have hungry tummies and they just love a feed of fresh fish (no bait please). They can be seen most days during summer and occassionally during the winter months.

Hamelin Bay - Camping Sites

At Hamelin Bay Holiday Park we offer 95 powered sites and 25 unpowered sites in varying sizes, including several large sites suitable for caravans. We have sites located within metres of the beautiful Hamelin Bay beach or lovely shady sites under a canopy of peppermint trees.

We can also offer secluded bush sites away from the hustle and bustle. Bookings are essential during peak times. Camp fires in approved fire pits are accepted from May to November (depending on our weather and fire restrictions at the time).

Hamelin Bay - Cape to Cape Track

The Cape to Cape Track is a spectacular and challening 135 km trek extending the length of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. Along the track you can experience breathtaking views of the oceans and peaceful bays, rugged headlands and soft, sandy beaches. This trail is ranked in the top 57 Tourist trails of WA.
